As I get started, I wondered what would be the best way to show what I'm wondering about digital citizenship. My thoughts turned to what I have been working on with my students in the classroom. As part of our inquiry projects, the students have been brainstorming using the program Bubbl.us. So, I did just what I asked my students to do and put down what I know at this point in my thought web.
What a great visual. I will be checking in with you a lot seeing as I am looking into the idea of teachers and their digital citizenship and online identity. I am hoping to embrace social media more professionally but I want to tread cautiously.
ReplyDeleteAnyways...have you been to the site www.commonsense.org/educators ? I use it and it is great!
Thanks Colette! I totally agree about that website! Such a great resource, I have a post that I'm working on based on what I've learned and used from it.
DeleteI'm looking forward to working with you in this area!
Loving bubble.us, Janelle! I want to give it a try for some of our work -- maybe take one of your side bubbles (issues) and see what we can generate together as a class. That should be a fun kitchen party activity! Looking forward to the future with you!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an interesting idea to me Rick!
